The suitably-named Upside Down House in Poland genuinely does stand on its roof, and the interiors are flipped to match. Polish philanthropist and designer Daniel Czapiewski built the topsy-turvy home Inspired by the country’s former communist rule. Just be careful when you leave, many visitors have said the disorientating structure left them feeling seasick.

Polish architect Jakub Szczesny said the claustrophobic home has all the basics a tenant could need including a micro-kitchen, mini-bathroom, sleeping cubicle, and tiny work area, all accessible via ladders.

However, it’s highly unlikely there was enough room to throw a moving in party!
