The suitably-named Upside Down House in Poland genuinely does stand on its roof, and the interiors are flipped to match. Polish philanthropist and designer Daniel Czapiewski built the topsy-turvy home Inspired by the country’s former communist rule. Just be careful when you leave, many visitors have said the disorientating structure left them feeling seasick.

World’s Slimmest House, Poland


The Keret House, inserted between two existing buildings, measures only from 92 to 152 centimeters in width! Polish architect Jakub Szczesny said the claustrophobic home has all the basics a tenant could need including a micro-kitchen, mini-bathroom, sleeping cubicle, and tiny work area, all accessible via ladders.

However, it’s highly unlikely there was enough room to throw a moving in party!

This is where singing duo Sony and Cher once called home. Before them, chairman of movie studio 20th Century Fox, Joe Schenck owned it. This sprawling, 10-acre dose of Old Hollywood was first built in 1936 and features nine bedrooms and 10 baths. All spread over 12,2000 square feet!
