So if you’re a promising high school football player in the USA, what should you bet on:  making it big in the NFL or investing in your college education?  If you’re lucky enough to be one of the 6.5% to become a NCAA football player, and one of the 1.5% of that group to make it to the NFL, you’ll be lucky to get 3 years out of it.

At a minimum NFL salary, you won’t make enough to live on for the rest of your life.  What’s going to provide for you and your family after football is over?  College, bitches.
