Have you ever noticed that when you’re waiting in line, sometimes, someone will stand so close behind you that you can “feel” their presence? I need a couple of feet of personal space around me. If you stand within that zone, you’re gonna get a dirty look. Or, I’ll “accidentally” bump in to you to give you the hint that you’re to close.
If I don’t know you, I don’t want to feel you, I don’t want to smell you, I don’t want to know that if I move an inch, I’ll be brushing up against you. Keep your distance. You’re not getting any closer to the front of the line by standing so close to me.

I LOATHE this. It makes me INSANE. Here’s what I do:
Turn around and FACE the too-close person behind you.
