And science did nothing more then use someone’s zodiac sign to try to determine if it’s real and that’s not going to work and as for “laws of physics” no one knows how astrology effects you and we are not suppose to know simple as that.

“But don’t claim astrology real, and don’t claim it’s science.” I do whatever the f*ck I want and I like to see you un-educated science fans pee brains stop me!! Real? Yes, Science, No, glad it’s not!!

And btw this site is pathetic sun sign horrorscopes are fake that I can agree with and it can’t apply to “just anyone” so learn real astrology then come back.

I should feel sad for those poor “souls” entrapped in their own fear and ignorance who fight blind to prove themselves that every fairytale (as astrology is too) is real but all I can feel is disgust because they are part of those who transformed this planet in an fkin insane asylum. Great article. Thank you & all the best!!!

You can call me closed minded if you like. You can call me pathetic, loner, no friends, no life, etc., but since you only know me from a keyboard, you’re probably not in any good standing to make valid assessments on my real life (which is why this sort of thing doesn’t really bother me). Like I said before, I’ve only started ONE thread on this discussion. I’ve only replied ONCE unprovoked (that I know of; feel free to fact check me. I’m OK with being wrong, if you can prove it). ALL the other times I’ve posted have been in RESPONSE to what OTHERS have instigated. I don’t sit here waiting for the next turn. I just crank these things out and move on with my life. If you had any valid arguments in favor of the heavenly bodies directly impacting what sort of person I am based on the planetary, solar, and stellar alignments on the date and time of my birth, you might have something. But no one has provided anything even remotely convincing!

I don’t care if people peddle horoscopes as long as it comes with a disclaimer to the effect that there’s no solid science to it. I’m fine with people giving good advice. I’m even fairly OK with dressing it up in a bunch of palatable booga booga so people have an easier time swallowing the truth. It’s like the old Mary Poppins song: “A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down.” What I don’t appreciate is people who insult the intelligence of others. I’m too experienced and educated to believe in the more esoteric claims of astrology. The zodiac began as a calendrical agricultural tool to mark seasons so farmers could know about when to start planting crops. Later it developed into other things. At some point, people decided to personalize all this stuff and come up with all kinds of ambiguous descriptions that basically predict human behavior to begin with, but then people start believing, looking for confirmation bias, and live out the self-fulfilling prophecies. It’s the same as tarot cards and other things of that nature.

Again, I’m not against good advice and if you want to shuffle a deck or look at a set of pieces of advice for the day, fine and good. But don’t try to convince me that it’s because there’s something directly controlling. It’s indistinguishable from large scale confirmation bias.

You pathetic little loner, you have no real friends, you have no real life, you are here just occupying space and time, I don’t feel sorry for you in the least, you are so empty inside that your only reason for being is to sit in front of a computer and babble nonsense, most people I wish well, but in your case I wish you nothing but what your ignorance brings you. I shall no longer reply since replying to a shut mind would only bring me down to your empty pathetic lonely friendless futureless existence.

You’re about as original as a cliche sandwich! 😀 😀 😀

If you refuse to see yourself as you truly are then there is to be no redemption for you. You are boring, dull, closed minded, arrogant, and a loser, that is the truth.

It has ZERO to do with actually addressing the argument at hand and everything to do with taking pot shots at the person themselves. This is most often done as a pathetic cry of desperation. “I HATE YOU,” cries the loser!

As for being poor and “getting” women: you might be correct. Perhaps my taste in women needs adjusting and I should avoid the gold diggers.

I ~have~ won! Every time. NOBODY has been able to present a convincing case in favor of the heavenly bodies directly influencing who we are! You all have FAILED. MISERABLY. At EVERY turn!

Perhaps YOU should stop lying to YOURself.

“Poor, pitiful, boring loser.” There you go with your ad hominem attacks–the bread and butter of every bully.

You know what I think you need to do?

Poor men can still get women if they are interesting. Sorry pal women don’t like boring men. See how you delude yourself just as you delude yourself into actually believing you have won every debate with others, yet any objective observer will tell you that you lost every time. Stop lying to yourself you poor pitiful boring loser.

You haven’t produced a shred of evidence.

As for why the constellations exist: nobody really knows, although the best available data generally credits the Babylonians as having come up with the system. Their system, though, was used as a calendrical tool–not a divination tool as it is today in the backwards art of horoscopes (which is little more than adding a bunch of booga booga to psychology; ignorant people won’t touch psychology or straight advice, but add a little magic to it, and all the sudden it’s magically delicious). They (the Babylonians) were more interested in how the stars (and planets) aligned with seasons for agricultural concerns (when to plant, etc.)–not how the heavenly bodies determined individual personalities.

Tell me my birth sign and why you think that’s what I am. You have a one in twelve chance, right? And I’m sure the “wise” astrologers of yore all understood how to come up with piecing together people’s behaviors and associate them with some imaginary connect-the-dots (la la la) way of looking at the stars in the heavens and determining that they somehow influence individual personalities directly. Go on. I’ll even narrow it down for you: try one of the fire signs. Explain WHY you think I’m THAT sign.

OH NO! DON’T BLOCK ME! I’M SO SORRY! PLEASE NOT THAT! I’LL DO ANYTHING YOU SAY! JUST DON’T BLOCK ME!

Even if you could prove that “a lot” of “famous singers” are water signs, how would you distinguish that from confirmation bias? How much is “a lot?” What is the source for your statistical data? How do you define “famous singer?” Are you limiting your data to American or British pop icons only, or are you going international with your data set? How do you know that the data set you’ve pulled from is representative of the majority? You’ve got way too much ambiguity baked into your definitions to be helpful.

It isn’t your age that makes you a kid in my book, but your behavior. Yours is childish–too much like my own (Sometimes I look myself in the mirror and say, “Hey, Mar, you know you really are being childish right now.” It hurts to admit it, but the truth is good for us in the long run; it challenges us to do better).

Well let’s get one fact straight: women don’t like me because I’m poor, not because I’m boring.

But I’ll tell you what is boring: projecting yourself onto other people.

The fact that you’re posting back to me YET AGAIN…I mean…really. I must not be that boring if you’re still responding.
