Artists from the 1900′s illustrate France in the year 2000

France in the Year 2000 – a series of futuristic pictures by Jean-Marc Côté and other artists issued in France in 1899, 1900, 1901 and 1910.  It would be interesting to see how futurists from the Year 2000 would depict the year 2100.  Goes to show… it’s nearly impossible for humans to predict, with any certainty, what the future may hold.
