Ever wonder what a map of the Earth would look like if you could see the global temperature, weather, and wind in real time?
“Earth” is an open source project to that was created to visualize global weather conditions. It downloads and processes Global Forecast System weather data from the National Centers for Environmental Prediction, NOAA / National Weather Service. Map data is provided by Natural Earth, and you can learn all about the project on the GitHub site.
